Photo GPS shifter
The flight's done, and then the base position gets corrected — the PPP solution comes back, or the base finally gets tied to control. Every photo's geotag is now off by exactly that amount. This tool shifts the GPS position in each photo's EXIF data to match: enter the offset, or calculate it from the original and corrected base positions. Photos stay on your device, originals are never modified, and nothing is recompressed — only the coordinate bytes change.
When you'd use it
Any drone-mapping or photo-survey job where the base position improved after capture: an OPUS, CSRS-PPP, or AUSPOS solution arrives for the base observation, or you started from an autonomous position and later surveyed it in. Shift the photos before handing them to Pix4D, Metashape, WebODM, or any other processing pipeline that reads EXIF geotags.
Details worth knowing
Works on JPEGs with standard EXIF GPS tags — the image geolocation that Pix4D, Metashape, and other photogrammetry software read. Latitude and longitude are written to about 0.03 mm of resolution, altitude to 0.1 mm. Photos without GPS data are skipped and reported, never silently altered. In Chrome and Edge the corrected copies save straight into a folder you pick, so hundreds-of-photos batches are fine.
